So how are we doing?
2025 has been an eventful year, not least with Jacqui’s gradually increasing Alzheimer’s. Yet we continue to enjoy wonderful support from our daughters and their families, from church members, and from our neighbours. In fact, this year we even managed four overseas holidays — each one accompanied by one of our daughters!
Ross continues, as a retired vicar, to be very active in supporting various churches, both on Sundays and for occasional ministries. Remarkably, in August he conducted four weddings and a funeral within just twelve days.
Still running, he is about to complete his 360th ParkRun, most of them at Ormskirk’s Edge Hill University running trail.
Two of our four daughters started new jobs this year — one as vicar of a central London church and the other as a university chaplain — and four of our ten grandchildren are applying for university places this coming autumn.
And we love to hear from friends, both near and afar!
